The International Motor Show will be opening for its 81st edition from March 3 to 13, 2011 at Geneva Palexpo. A range of environmentally friendly technologies of the future will again be on display in the Green Pavilion and the Green Test Drives. The Green Pavilion was such a success at the 2010 Show that the organizers would like to place more emphasis on it at the 2011 edition. It will therefore be welcoming visitors at an extremely central location. ]]>

Functional, versatile, economical and ecological: no matter how divers the demands placed upon them are, the vehicles on display at the Motor Show cannot ignore the human element. Factors such as the pleasure of driving, liberty of movement and design nonetheless remain every bit as important. The Management of the Motor Show have chosen a young woman at the wheel of her cabriolet to illustrate the 81st edition of the Motor Show. The poster conveys light-heartedness and good humour. ]]>

The automobile industry presented a Geneva International Motor Show more glittering and innovative than ever. After a very difficult 2009, the manufacturers have demonstrated a tremendous capacity to adapt with their presentation of more than one hundred world and European premiers, providing great pleasure to the large number of media representatives and the visiting public who, once again, were very appreciative of the welcoming and quality atmosphere of the event. This 80th edition finished with very positive results, and the dates for next year have already been fixed for March 3-13, 2011. ]]>
