Inscriptions are now open for the next Geneva International Motor Show which will take place on March 3-13, 2011. Following the success of the 2010 Show and the enthusiasm of the exhibitors, the 7 exhibition halls of PALEXPO are filling rapidly and there will probably not be sufficient space to satisfy all of the demand. Some 250 exhibitors and around 700,000 visitors are expected for this 81st edition. ]]>

The automobile industry presented a Geneva International Motor Show more glittering and innovative than ever. After a very difficult 2009, the manufacturers have demonstrated a tremendous capacity to adapt with their presentation of more than one hundred world and European premiers, providing great pleasure to the large number of media representatives and the visiting public who, once again, were very appreciative of the welcoming and quality atmosphere of the event. This 80th edition finished with very positive results, and the dates for next year have already been fixed for March 3-13, 2011. ]]>

From the more than sixty models developed to use energies other than petroleum being presented on the stands of this 80th edition of the Geneva International Motor Show, two different types of attractions will be centred on “alternative” vehicle technologies. The Green Pavilion lifts the covers from projects and prototypes for the future and also provides the opportunity to test drive some of the ecologically-friendly models available today. ]]>
